Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 recap

Here are all the announcements and games shown during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 live stream — from Forza Motorsport to Starfield

Microsoft presented its 2022 Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase Sunday and showed more than 25 titles in the course of just over an hour and a half.

Big announcements included Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and new details and footage of Redfall and Starfield. Microsoft also detailed several other console exclusives, world premieres and many of the titles shown will be on Game Pass day one.

Prior to the show, Microsoft described the showcase, saying viewers would “dive into this 90-minute showcase of what you can expect from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, and a ton of other great game creators from our partners around the world.”

The showcase was presented live beginning at 10 a.m. from the Microsoft Theater, formerly the Nokia Theatre, in Los Angeles.

After the company announced earlier this year that both Starfield and Redfall would be delayed, Xbox went into the show with no big exclusives for the holiday season.

But it was revealed during the showcase that a new Hot Wheels expansion is coming to Forza Horizon 5 and games like Scorn and others are coming this year to Xbox consoles, so there will be plenty to play for Xbox fans.

If you missed the show, you can watch a replay below, via the Xbox YouTube channel, or check out our full recap of the what was shown underneath the video.

So, what did you think of the showcase? Will you be picking any of these titles up? Were you hoping to see anything that wasn’t announced? Let us know in the comments section below or on social media.

Though Microsoft’s conference was an independent offering since E3 2022 was canceled, it was presented as part of what many are calling “Not E3.” And there’s a good argument to be made that the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase was the closest thing to a real E3 conference this year.
