E3 @ SCG 2019: Microsoft (Xbox) recap

From Microsoft’s new Xbox console, Project Scarlett, to Halo Infinite, Gears 5, and more, we’ve got all the trailers and news from the Xbox briefing

Microsoft presented its annual Xbox briefing at E3 2019 Sunday starting at 1 p.m. and it showcased 60 games, 14 of which were from Microsoft Game Studios and 34 of which will be featured on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Speaking of Xbox Game Pass, it’s available on PC now and subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have access to Game Pass on Xbox One and PC as well as the Xbox Live service. You can even check it out for $1 for a limited time in honor of E3.

Microsoft also announced that the Halo Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. Hollow Knight, Batman Arkham Knight, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and more games are coming to Game Pass soon as well.

Microsoft concluded its conference by unveiling the first official details about its upcoming console, dubbed Project Scarlett, and said Halo Infinite will launch with the system when it hits stores holiday 2020. The system is said to feature a custom AMD processor, 8K gaming with 120 frames per second, an SSD and more.
