Here’s what Xbox Live Gold members can play on Xbox One and Xbox 360 for September
September 2018’s Xbox Live Games with Gold have been revealed and the lineup is headlined by Prison Architect, Livelock and more.
To keep up with all the Xbox Live Games with Gold news, be sure to visit our Xbox Live Games with Gold section here at SCG, which is located under our “More from SCG” menu.
The page features a list of every game that’s ever been offered on the Games with Gold program, so you can take a look at what you’ve missed or get a reminder of what you downloaded at this time last year.
Here is the full list of games being offered for the month:
September 2018
- Prison Architect (Xbox One) (Sept. 1 – 30)
- Livelock (Xbox One) (Sept. 16 – Oct. 15)
- LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (Xbox 360) (Sept. 1 – 15)
- Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World (Xbox 360) (Sept. 16 – 30)
If you’ve yet to grab August’s games, you’ve got Sept. 1 (note that some games carry over to the following month, some games don’t become free until the middle of the month and other games may have ended in the middle of last month).
Don’t forget, Microsoft offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up Major Nelson’s Xbox Blog or just keep an eye on the Xbox Store for more information on those.
Also, keep in mind that Xbox 360 Games with Gold are playable on Xbox One via Xbox One’s backward compatibility feature.
Xbox Live Gold runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time to time, especially around Black Friday. For more information on other services Xbox Live Gold offers, please visit the official Xbox web page.
Don’t forget to keep it locked to SCG for monthly updates on subscription game offerings and everything else gamers from the River City and beyond need to know.
