After shipping over 5 million figurines, Nintendo reveals the most popular characters
Several gaming sites, including Engadget are reporting lists of the most popular characters in Nintendo’s interactive action figure line.
The company’s Amiibo line has officially shipped more than 5.7 million units to date, according to Nintendo. Along with the announcement, Nintendo released lists of the most popular Amiibo, by country.
Absent from or fairly low (in the case of Marth) on the lists, of course, are Marth, Villager and the Wii Fit Trainer, which have become quite rare after Nintendo ceased shipment of these figures shortly after release.
Interestingly, Link appears to be the most popular character in three of the four countries. He’s also in the top three for the fourth country. Take a look below and let us know what you think.
